Anthony’s Historic $4.4 Million Verdict
Anthony Ferguson holds the distinction of recovering what was reported at the time as the largest personal injury verdict ever in the State of Maine. In the historic case, he represented a man and his wife for claims arising out of the man’s fall on an icy stairway at a well-known Maine ski area. The man suffered a mild traumatic brain injury and a neck injury in the fall, and the owner of the ski area had offered $100,000 to settle his claims. Anthony took the case to a jury trial and won $3.61 million for the man’s injuries. He also recovered an additional $750,000 for the man’s wife for loss of consortium as a result of the husband’s injuries.
